Fat tire electric bikes are surging in popularity and for good reason. They offer the best of both worlds by combining capability with comfort… and have a formidable presence. These eBikes are, in fact, the SUV-equivalent in the eBike market. The best thing is, you can get a fat tire electric bike with a folding frame as well for easy storage and transport!
Thanks to their anti-skid knobby tires which are also better resistant to punctures and flats, fat tire electric bikes can let you explore everything that was previously inaccessible to you. Due to the bumpy nature and wider profile of their tires (which leads to significantly better traction btw), these eBikes are perfect for rocky roads, gravel paths, rugged trails, and jagged hills.
Also, the wider tire profile distributes your weight over a wider surface area, which prevents you from digging into soft terrains such as sand, snow, or mud. It means, fat tire electric bikes can also be a great ride partner for your weekend beach trips… or when you have to commute through fresh packed snow.
Besides their capability to let you explore everything that’s off the road, fat tire eBikes can even become a great urban ride for those people who prefer comfort over everything else. They almost always have a dual or at least a front suspension system. And even if that too is absent, their tires absorb every bump, pothole, shock, and undulation before it could make it to you.
Simply put, no electric bike can match the remarkable comfort and insane capability offered by fat tire eBikes. In case you’re looking to buy one for yourself, here are the best fat tire electric bikes you can get right now.

Fat tire eBikes may start from as little as $800 and go as high as $8,000… but as of now, no fat eBike on the market provides more value for money than Engwe EP-2 Pro. It’s an absolute champ and can fulfill the off-roading needs for the majority of users.
The EP-2 Pro is an entry-level bike and costs just over $1,000 – but its specifications and features easily rival the premium options on the market. Think I’m exaggerating? Well, just wait till you see what this bike has to offer.
So, let’s start with the powertrain.
The EP-2 Pro features a powerful 48V 750W XingDa brushless geared hub motor that drives the rear wheel and is fueled by a massive but efficient 48V 13Ah (624Wh) Lithium power pack. The battery pack is placed in the main tube for aesthetics but can be quickly removed by a 3-step mechanism for out-of-frame charging.
Engwe claims a maximum assisted mileage of up to 74 miles (120km) … but that’s impossible to attain in real-world conditions. The actual range output depends on your speed, riding style, load, and terrain conditions, and an average rider can expect around 40-50 miles (64-80km) on pedal-assist.
Even that’s way too much than you could expect from a fat tire eBike that costs just over $1,000.
As for power, the EP-2 Pro has a LOT of it. The 750W rear motor is rated at 60Nm of torque, and it’s again insane for an entry-level bike. With this much power and 20×4” CHAOYANG all-terrain tires, this fat eBike is practically unstoppable.
Luckily, you have lots of ways to regulate all that power according to your ride conditions and boost your energy efficiency to get a longer range. You have a 7-speed transmission from Shimano, 3 ride modes (throttle, pedal-assist, manpower), and 5 further power levels in the pedal-assist (PAS) mode.
While the highest PAS mode will let you hit the top 28mph (45km/h) speed, the lowest PAS mode will require you to pedal harder but will conserve the battery.
Moving on, the EP-2 Pro has a front fork suspension for shock absorption and comfortable gliding on rugged terrains. You also have dual Tektro mechanical disc brakes to stop safely and quickly.
The frame is made of 6061 aluminum and has a quick-folding design for easy storage and transport. The overall payload capacity is quite decent at 330lbs (165kg) and you have a cargo rack in the rear to haul your gear.
The best thing is, the EP-2 Pro doesn’t miss anything. From a large mid-mounted LCD screen for ride monitoring to front/ rear fenders to head and tail lights, it comes complete with every last thing you might need (or want). It even features stylish single-piece wheels that look absolutely cool!
And as if all these features aren’t enough, the folks at Engwe are throwing in a free 48V 13Ah battery too. It’s insane. I really don’t know what’s the catch here. Guess there’s none.
The only notable downside is that it weighs a bit on the heavier side and doesn’t have a premium finish (after all, it is an entry-level bike)… but is that enough to offset what it offers? For me, it’s the best folding fat tire electric bike money can buy right now!

The Troxus SkyHopper is one of the best fat tire electric bikes when it comes to value for money. For an affordable asking price, it offers a stylish build, a capable powertrain, a comfortable ride, and lots of features.
The high-torque motor, sourced from Bafang, effortlessly glides on steep inclines while the efficient 614Wh Lithium battery keeps the fun going for up to 60 miles (95km) on pedal-assist. The range drops on throttle but is still sufficient for most of your weekend adventures.
Being a Class 3 eBike, you can cruise at up to 28mph on pedal assist.
The mid-step frame helps getting on/off easier and looks great, thanks to its premium finish and neat internal cable routing. It also has a rear cargo rack to let you take your gear with you, but keep in mind that this fat tire eBike has a low payload capacity of 275lbs.
One of the best things I like about the SkyHopper is its sweptback handlebars that ensure a relaxed geometry and upright riding posture to reduce stress on your arms and back. The riding comfort is enhanced by the front shock absorber fork and bumpy fat tires.

The “most powerful and versatile eBike ever designed” by Aventon, the Aventure sets new highs in the arena of fat tire electric bikes.
It features a 750W Bafang rear motor that peaks at 1.13kW to flatten out every hill that lies in your way, and gets its fuel from a 720Wh Lithium power pack. A rider weighing 180lbs can expect around 25 miles (40km) on full throttle and over 45 miles (72km) on the lowest level of pedal assist on 80% flat terrain.
The battery pack is aesthetically hidden but is easily removable to allow for out-of-frame charging. Not just the battery, you can’t see any wires as they’re routed internally for a neat and clean exterior. The overall styling and looks are beyond top-notch too!
You also have the option to select a step-through version, besides choosing from a lot of color and size options.
The Aventure is one of the best fat tire electric bikes on the market when it comes to handling and ride quality. It’s sporty without being too athletic, and you can easily maneuver it in the trickiest of places.
The 8-speed transmission gives you better control over your speed and power output, while the dual hydraulic brakes make sure you can stop the moment you want. The front suspension fork has 80mm of travel and it does a great job at eliminating shocks when combined with the massive 26×4” fat tires.
One of the best things about this fat tire eBike is its large, backlit color display that allows you to charge your phone on the go and syncs with Aventon app for remote configuration.
From metal fenders to bright lights, the Aventure comes complete with everything except for a rear rack that I feel Aventon should have included in the tag. But do you really care about a $50 upgrade when you’re getting SO much for $2000?

Best Deal
If you’re looking for a reliable ride to haul your cargo on your off-road adventures, the Fiido T1 is the best fat tire electric bike for you. It has an insanely sturdy build and an insane payload capacity.
The powertrain comprises a mighty 750W brushless geared rear hub motor fueled by a massive 48V 20Ah (960Wh) Lithium battery. It means you cannot only conquer the most challenging of terrains but can undertake longer trips than ever.
Under normal load conditions, you can get a mind-boggling range of 93 miles (150km) on a single charge on the lowest level of pedal-assist. The actual mileage will be less – but still way more than enough!!!
The T1 is also quite comfortable to ride, thanks to an impressive front shock absorber and, obviously, the 20×4” fat tires. You also have a Shimano 7-speed transmission to seamlessly shift gears in accordance with the terrain you’re riding.
The best thing about the T1 is its minimal yet super-sturdy aluminum build that allows it to endure a whopping 440lbs (200kg) of payload. It means it can effortlessly haul you as well as every last thing that you might want to take with you on your camping trips!
Moving on, the T1 comes with an integrated rear cargo rack with a wooden top (that looks absolutely dope, btw) and a sturdy alloy basket at the front. While the rack can carry 176lbs (80kg) of payload, the front basket is also quite practical.

Rad Power Bikes is one of the leading eBike brands and their products are known for being safe, reliable, and durable. Thankfully, the RadRover 6 Plus is no different!
Featuring a high-torque 750W brushless geared rear hub motor, a 672Wh Lithium-ion battery pack, and 26×4” Kenda Juggernaut tires, the RadRover 6 Plus is the top-of-the-line offering as well as the most powerful bike offered by Rad Power Bikes… and is unarguably one of the best electric fat tire bikes in sub-$2,000 range.
The powertrain is extremely capable and you don’t need to think twice before climbing any hill. You also have a 7-speed Shimano Altus drivetrain to regulate the power as you want. The power delivery is surprisingly predictable.
The massive tires can accompany you anywhere you want and thankfully, you also have a 60mm RST spring front fork with lockout and preload adjustment features to sail on rugged rocky terrains.
Another good thing is, Rad has gone for Nutt hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm rotors in both front and rear to give you just the kind of stopping power you’ll need, regardless of weather or terrain conditions.
Other notable features include semi-integrated battery design for easy removal and dual LCD panels to let you monitor all ride parameters at all times without having to switch anything.
You also have a rear rack rated at 55lbs (25kg) of load. Speaking of which, the only downside of this electric fat tire bike from Rad is its measly payload capacity of 275lbs (125kg). Other than that, it’s an absolute steal!

Hurley is not a new brand – it has earned quite a name for itself in the sports gear niche… and has now entered the eBike market with a stylish lineup of beach cruiser electric bikes. Top of the line is a breathtaking fat tire beach cruiser eBike, we know as the Mini Swell.
Featuring the vintage styling of 50s cruiser bicycles, this retro fat tire eBike is meant for those riders who want to look different on the road. With minimal build, sleek lines, and clean finish, you’re guaranteed to turn lots of heads as you use this fat tire eBike to stroll down the beach.
Besides the attractive looks and unmistakable presence, the Mini Swell is also not short on comfort – which you can easily notice from the magnanimous plush saddle. Have you seen anything like this before?
You also have a sturdy front suspension fork for smooth sailing on rugged trails. And don’t forget the bumpy fat tires… they also add a lot of comfort to your rides, besides enabling you to move from pavement to the beach as digging into the sand will be the last thing you need to worry about.
The Mini Swell is a Class 2 eBike, with a 500W powertrain working with a 7-speed transmission from Shimano. The motor is unarguably quite capable, but I wish Hurley had used a slightly bigger battery on this fat tire eBike. With the current 480Wh Lithium unit, you will have to stick to pedal assist to enjoy a longer mileage.
If you’re looking to make your beach trips more fun, this is the best fat tire electric bike for that!

QuietKat Warrior – Best Premium Fat Tire Electric Bicycle
Award: Best Premium Fat Tire Electric Bicycle
Specs
- Motor: 48V 1000W mid-drive
- Battery: 48V 12.8Ah (614Wh) Lithium-ion
- Top speed: 20mph (32km/h) on throttle, 28mph (45km/h) on PAS – Class 3
- Range: 20-40 miles (32-64km)
- Weight: 70lbs (32kg)
- Wheel Size: 26”
Pros
- Insanely powerful motor with 160Nm torque
- Gigantic 26×4.5” Kenda Juggernaut fat tires
- Impressive front fork with 120mm travel
- Wide-ranging SRAM 8-speed drivetrain
- Comes with an integrated rear cargo rack
- 30-day risk-free test-ride policy
Cons
- Fenders and lights not included
Best Deal
If you’re looking for (and can afford) the ultimate fat tire hill climber, the QuietKat Warrior can be a great option to consider.
The Warrior comes with a large mid-drive motor… and as you’d recall from my detailed hub vs mid explainer, a mid-drive motor has WAY more torque and is incredibly more capable than a hub-drive motor. For instance, a 250W mid-drive unit can have a better hill-climbing ability than a 500W or even a 750W hub motor.
So, just imagine how capable a 1000W mid-drive motor will be?
With up to 160Nm of torque at your disposal, the QuietKat Warrior is one of the most powerful fat tire electric bikes on the market today. It shoots up hills as if they are flat roads and doesn’t lose even a shred of performance under heavy loads.
The insanely capable powertrain is perfectly matched with an insanely capable set of tires – massive 26×4.5” Kenda Juggernaut fat tires. These 4.5” tires are literally undefeatable no matter how impossible the terrain looks.
As for the drivetrain, you have a wide SRAM 8-speed to tame all that power and adjust your gears while tackling steep ascents and descents. You also have four riding modes (throttle, sport-assist, eco-assist, and walk-assist), with both sport and eco modes further offering you five different power levels.
Moving on, the Warrior has a 325lbs load capacity and features a remarkable coil-suspension fork in the front, which is both adjustable and lockable and has an impressive 120mm of travel. However, it doesn’t have a rear suspension which I feel should have been there, considering the price point. Likewise, it uses mechanical disc brakes from Tektro instead of hydraulic ones.
Another downside is that fenders and lights don’t come standard.
But on the upside, you have multiple sizes to choose from and can get it restricted to any speed/ power output to comply with local regulations. You also have a life-time warranty on the frame and a 30-day 10-mile trial period that starts when the bike arrives at your place.
All in all, if you can afford the tag, the QuietKat Warrior is the best mid-drive fat tire electric bike in a somewhat affordable range… as the high-end options may set you back anywhere from $8-10k.

Best Deal
The Fiido M21 is the best option for those who want a folding fat tire electric bike for exercise purposes. Why is that so? Well, it comes with a torque sensor.
In case you’re not familiar with the concept, a torque sensor is a high-end pedal-assist system that detects your pedaling input upto 1000 times in a second to regulate your motor output accordingly. It’s as if this sensor is responding to your input and adjusting your ride in real-time.
The result? Well, due to a highly responsive ride, no energy is wasted whatsoever and the ride is as efficient as is simply possible. This also explains why a measly 11.6Ah battery is able to give a stellar 62-mile (100km) mileage on this eBike.
Besides boosting efficiency, the highly-responsive nature of the torque sensor translates to a natural and intuitive ride. The motor assists you the instant you want it to assist and stops the instant you want it to stop.
There are no lags or delays and riding an eBike with a torque sensor seems as if you have superhuman legs. This is also why if you want a fat tire electric bike for exercise purposes, buying one with a torque sensor will make your experience much better.
Besides that, the M21 comes with capable 4” all-terrain tires and a stellar dual suspension system to make sure that your rides are super-smooth and extremely comfortable, no matter how rugged the terrain is.
Thanks to the folding frame, you can throw this bike in your trunk to take it with you on any camping trip. It’s lighter than most fat tire electric bikes on this list and weighs just 55lbs (25kg).

If you’re looking for a fat tire eBike that you can easily get on or off, without having to take off your backpack, the Troxus Explorer Step-Thru can be a great option. It looks great and packs the punch!
The Explorer comes with majestic 26×4” Kenda fat tires that can effortlessly roll over the greatest of obstacles you might encounter in your off-road adventures… and yes, it has a low-mount step-through frame to make your life much easier than it used to be!
As for the powertrain, the Explorer is one of the most capable fat tire eBikes on the market today, all thanks to its 750W brushless rear motor from Bafang. The 48V 20Ah (almost 1kWh) Lithium battery, equipped with Samsung cells, is no less capable than the motor and can propel you up to 62 miles (100km) on the lowest level of pedal assist.
The battery is stealthily placed in the frame but can be easily removed for charging inside your place. It also has a USB port to let you charge your phone on the go.
Other noteworthy features include a class-leading hydraulic brake system with 180mm fast heat-dissipating rotors and motor cut-off levers to ensure quick and efficient stoppage. You also have a Shimano 8-speed system to modify your overall speed and power output, based on your needs.
The Explorer is also one of the most stylish fat tire electric bikes out there. With step-through design and battery hidden in the downtube, it has an absolutely clean look with no distasteful wiring.
As for the downsides, it has a surprisingly low payload capacity, compared to its rather bulky weight. Other than that, it’s quite a catch!

The Heybike Mars fat tire eBike is worth way more than it sets you back for. It has a budget tag but premium features.
The Mars comes with a 500W brushless geared rear hub motor fueled by a large 48V 12.5Ah Lithium unit. The motor has sufficient torque for hill climbing and the battery has more than enough capacity to allow for longer adventures.
It is a Class 2 eBike, so the maximum speed is capped at 20mph (32km/h). The pedal-assist system uses a 12-magnet cadence sensor for a more responsive ride and has three levels to let you adjust the motor output as per your need.
You also have a Shimano 7-speed transmission to further regulate your power and get more torque on uphills and more speed on downhills. The disc brakes are quite reliable too.
The Mars misses suspension in the rear, but the front fork and seat post spring do a great job at removing bumps from your ride. The 20×4” fat tires also help with shock absorption, besides letting you glide on rocks, dirt, mud, gravel, snow, and sand.
And now, the best part…
Thanks to the folding design, you can easily carry the Mars on your camping trips by throwing it in your car trunk. However, the weight is on the higher side – mainly because Heybike has made it sturdy enough to haul 330lbs of payload.

If you’re looking to undertake some really, really long off-road adventures and want something that won’t die on you in the middle of nowhere, look no more! Juiced Bikes HyperScrambler 2 is hands down the best long-range fat tire electric bike, all thanks to its insane 1996Wh net battery capacity.
The HyperScrambler 2 features two 52V 19.2Ah Lithium units to make the impossible possible… and deliver a maximum range of 100 miles (165km). Besides that, the 1000W motor is itself pretty capable. It peaks at 2000W and lets you effortlessly climb any hill or shoot to speeds in excess of 30mph when unrestricted.
Impressed already? Well, I’m just getting started.
The HyperScrambler 2, like many other Juiced eBikes, features Juiced’s proprietary dual-sensor system that uses a combo of torque and cadence sensors to gather your pedaling inputs upto 1000 times a second to ensure a responsive, intuitive, and efficient ride. It not only increases the fun of cycling but also boosts range.
Another notable feature is that this fat tire eBike comes with 20×4.25” tires that provide better capability than the usual 4” tires. You also have dual hydraulic brakes, an 8-speed drivetrain, and dual suspension – just as what you expect from a fat bike in this price range. Thankfully, it doesn’t disappoint and offers premium specs all the way through.
The minimal retro build and gigantic 25” (63cm) padded saddle is also great to have… but what I really like about this fat eBike is the safety features it comes with.
You have a stylish 2,000 lumen moto-style headlight, an integrated brake light, dual turn signals, dual side view mirrors, a loud horn, and even a safety alarm. The headlight is super-bright and includes a daytime running lamp too, which is just dope! You also have a USB charging port on the handlebar.
The HyperScrambler 2 might be on the higher end of the price spectrum, but it’s absolutely fun, absolutely worth the tag, and undoubtedly one of the best long-range fat tire electric bikes you can buy today.

The Ranger features hydraulic disc brakes at each wheel to ensure instant stoppage without wobbling or loss of balance. The Sohoo 20” folding fat tire eBike surprises you by packing everything you might need from an off-roader at an affordable tag.
It has a 500W reasonably powerful motor that can let you cruise up to 28mph (45km/h) and has a super-efficient battery that provides a remarkably better mileage than other similarly-sized batteries. The range reduces at peak speed but if you stay in lower levels of pedal-assist, you can explore the longest tracks without your battery dying on you.
This electric fat tire bike has a really compact build and to top it off, it folds within seconds to absolutely small dimensions, allowing you to throw it in the most compact of spaces possible. It’s fairly lightweight too.
Another notable thing is that it comes in both step-over and step-through designs.
The payload is reasonable (for the price point) and there’s a shock absorber in the front for rugged riding. You also have a 7-speed Shimano drivetrain to adjust your gears (and corresponding power output) on ascents, descents, and flat roads.
What I like the most about this folding fat tire eBike is the sheer number of accessories it comes with. For instance, you have fenders on both front and rear, a front headlight, a rear brake light, a horn, a rear rack, an LCD display with a USB charging port, and even a back mirror.
It’s extremely hard to find a reasonably spec’d fat bike with this many features in a super-affordable tag… but Sohoo has somehow pulled it off. To me, it’s unarguably one of the best budget folding fat tire electric bikes you can buy right now.

If you’re looking for a fat tire electric mountain bike at an affordable price point, I’d recommend you consider Gogobest GF700.
It’s a dual motor electric bike with two 48V 500W brushless geared hub units directly rotating the two wheels. The cumulative power output is remarkable – you can accelerate to the top speed within seconds and can climb any incline with practically no effort at all.
You also have a top-notch 21-speed transmission from Shimano, that allows you to adjust your gears in accordance with the steepness of the ascent you have in front of you. The massive 26×4” tires help too!
Besides mountain riding and hill climbing, the dual-wheel-drive configuration works extremely well on soft packed terrains such as snow, sand, and mud (just like the AWD cars do). So, I’d gladly recommend this fat tire electric bike to anyone who encounters such tricky terrains in their everyday commute.
Moving on, the GF700 has an exceptionally sturdy frame and can easily endure up to 440lbs (200kg) of load without losing performance. It has a sturdy shock absorber in the front for smooth sailing and hydraulic disc brakes at each wheel for safe and instant braking.
You also have everything from a smart LCD panel to a bright front lamp, except for the rear rack and rear light. All in all, it’s one of the most capable fat tire electric bikes on the market… and is worth every cent!

Can you imagine getting a multi-speed 500W fat tire eBike for under $1000? Well, Ecotric can give you just that. It’s insane… but true!
With a capable powertrain, reasonable mileage, portable frame, front and saddle suspension, and Shimano 7-speed drivetrain, the Ecotric 20” is unarguably one of the best budget fat tire electric bikes you can buy today.
While the 500W motor gives you decent hill-climbing ability, the 450Wh battery can get you around 25-35 miles on the pedal assist. Yes, it’s not too much… but it’s definitely way too much when you consider the price tag!
There are 3 levels of pedal assist and four riding modes, including throttle, pedal-assist, booster, and manpower. The booster mode, that lets you walk the bike along with you at 3.7mph (6km/h), is a nice little feature to have.
The 20×4” fat tires are no different than what you find on a premium fat tire bike… and the bike is extremely portable. It folds to an absolutely minimal size, thanks to a quick-folding mechanism. Not just the frame but the upper tube, handlebar stem, and pedals can be folded down to let you throw it into the most compact of trunks.
You also have multiple adjustment points to customize the bike for a comfortable and snug experience.
Moving on, Ecotric has even included a front suspension fork and a saddle spring. These two things work with the bumpy tires to ensure a comfortable ride over rough off-road terrains.
You also get a headlamp in the front (but just a reflector plate in the rear). The bike also has a compact LCD display, a kickstand, and fenders on both front and rear, all of which is quite surprising considering the budget tag.
The only notable downside (and it’s quite a big one, honestly) is the measly payload capacity of just 200lbs. I mean this bike can’t even endure 100kg of load, which kind of sucks.
Anyways, if you weigh below average and are looking for a budget fat tire eBike, the Ecotric 20” can be a great option. It can also be a great “first ride” for those looking to enter the fat bike club!

Unarguably one of the best budget fat tire electric bikes on the market today, the SMLRO XDC600 has a surprisingly long list of features, considering its sooooper-affordable tag. I mean, this fat bike packs every single thing you might need… and provides an unbelievable value for money!
For starters, it features a powerful 48V 1000W geared hub motor and has an excellent payload capacity, well above 300lbs. The 624Wh battery is also quite efficient and can give you a remarkable range for the price point. It’s quickly removable and comes with a lock and key.
The most notable thing, however, is the Shimano 21-speed transmission system that gives you a wide range of gear-ratios to choose from, letting you seamlessly adjust your power and speed on ascents and descents. With this kind of gearing, 1000 watts of continuous power, and 26×4” fat tires, no hill can ever stop you.
You also have multiple riding modes as well. Use throttle, pedal-assist or just pedal like a regular cycle – it’s up to you.
Among other notable features, the XDC600 comes with a front suspension fork, a sturdy rear rack, a large LCD display, a bright front lamp, a horn, and fenders. It’s simply unbelievable how it doesn’t miss anything. Yes, you can’t expect a premium finish like the one you see in high-end fat bikes, but don’t forget that this thing costs just $1,199.
So, my verdict… it’s one of the best, if not the best, fat tire electric bikes to buy on budget!

Swagtron EB-8 Outlaw offers a surprisingly good set of features for a super-budget tag of just $899.
It has a 350W powertrain fueled by a small 8.8Ah Lithium battery… which is quite understandable. Thankfully, you have Shimano 7-speed drivetrain to somewhat make up for that. You can use the mechanical advantage of gears to get the extra boost you need to climb a hill, though you’d have to rely on your leg power most of the time.
Thanks to the folding frame, the EB-8 is extremely portable and folds into a minimal carrying size. You also have several adjustment points to customize it according to your height, but it isn’t recommended for riders above 5’10”.
Thankfully, the 20×4” fat tires are as reliable and capable as you may want. The best thing about this budget fat tire eBike is that it’s a dual suspension bike. Honestly, this is the single reason I added it to this list.
Having dual suspension on a folding fat tire electric bike – and that too a super-budget one – isn’t less than a surprise. But Swagtron has managed to do just that, though they have cut costs in many places to offset that.
For instance, this fat bike has no LCD panel and you just have LEDs to monitor battery levels. You also have no fenders and no lights (though you have reflectors in front and rear). Moreover, the pedal-assist doesn’t have any power levels and functions just like an on/off switch – which can be very inconvenient, especially at turns.
The EB-8 lacks behind its rival Ecotric fat tire bike in all features except for two. It has dual suspension and better load capacity. Unlike Ecotric’s measly 200lbs payload capacity, the EB-8 can endure up to 265lbs (120kg) of payload.
All in all, it can be a good budget fat tire bike to consider, especially for teens and first-time buyers.
