One thing I particularly like about this e-bike is its app connectivity, which enhances safety with additional features.

When it comes to range, the Aventon Sinch.2 impresses with a maximum range of 55 miles which I achieved with both pedal and throttle assist, along with the turbo mode. The e-bike weighs 68 lbs, which is fairly doable considering its features. You can ride the bike without using both throttle and pedal assist, but of course, you have to keep in mind that this bike is quite heavy.

With a nominal power of 500W and a peak power of 750W, the Aventon Sinch.2 delivers a good performance. Its 20×4″ street tires enable easy cornering and smooth rides on flat surfaces. Lastly, this e-bike provides a good hill climbing experience. The bike features 4 PAS (Pedal Assist System) modes, which is lower than the 1st generation with 5 PAS.

The Aventon Sinch.2 is equipped with a reliable 48V 14Ah battery, which provides ample capacity for long rides. I achieved an impressive range of 55 miles (88.5 km) on a single charge. This extended range is made possible by the 672Wh battery capacity.

It’s important to note that the range can vary depending on various factors, such as rider weight, terrain conditions, and wind conditions. To maximize the range, I recommended using pedal assist slightly and with the eco mode.

The overall ride quality of the Aventon Sinch.2 is smooth and steady. The bike’s steering is nimble and agile, making it easy to maneuver. Thanks to the torque sensor, the pedal assist provides assistance based on my effort, resulting in a more natural riding experience.

The power delivery of the bike is responsive, and I haven’t experienced any lagging or delay. Cornering is easy thanks to the 20×4″ tires, which provide a nice grip and stability during turns.

The Aventon Sinch.2 can handle a weight capacity of up to 300 lbs, making it suitable if you’re someone who always brings stuff. Additionally, the added rear rack can support up to 55 lbs, which is a level up since the previous version of the Sinch did not include a rear rack upon purchase.

I also appreciate the step-thru design of the bike, as it is well-suited for smaller riders.

The Aventon Sinch.2 is equipped with mechanical disc brakes. The brakes feature Tektro branding, which provides good performance for me. The diameter of the brake rotors is 180mm, which I like since many e-bikes typically offer rotors with a diameter of 160mm only.

While the mechanical disc brakes on the bike offer good performance, hydraulic disc brakes generally provide even better braking performance.

The front suspension fork is adjustable and lockable. It offers pre-load adjustment on the left side, meaning you can customize the suspension according to your preference. On the right side, there is a lockout feature that allows the suspension to be locked, which can be useful in certain situations or when riding on smoother surfaces.

The bike is also equipped with a seat post suspension, further enhancing riding comfort. The saddle is comfortable and manufactured by Aventon also. 

The Aventon Sinch.2 is made of strong 6061 Single-Butted Aluminum Alloy with an internal battery. It weighs 68 lbs and can carry up to 300 lbs. It even has a foldable feature! What’s more, its step-thru design allows for easy hopping on, and I really like the sleek finish giving it a premium look. You can also attach a front rack if you want thanks to the available mounting points.

The Aventon Sinch.2 is available at a midrange category price of $1,799, good if you’re just starting in the world of electric bikes.

The Aventon Sinch.2 is portable, measuring 46″ x 28″ x 30″ when folded and 67″ x 23.35″ x 46″ when not folded. I love how easy it is to carry around! Plus, the seat and handlebar are adjustable for added comfort.

The Aventon Sinch.2 has nice styling that I really like. Its glossy frame style is truly eye-catching. When it comes to wiring, the bike is neatly designed with internal wiring, except for the front where there are some external wires that are well-managed, but it’s still good. Additionally, you have the option to choose from two beautiful colors: Sapphire and Quicksilver.

The Aventon Sinch .2 has an easy way of removing and locking the battery. Charging the battery takes around 5 to 6 hours, which is quite reasonable. The battery has a 672Wh LG Cell capacity.

What’s really neat is that the battery is positioned above the frame, and with a simple unlock, it pops out effortlessly thanks to the spring mechanism.

The Aventon Sinch .2 comes equipped with a backlit LCD display that adds convenience to your riding experience. What’s great is that the display is colored, providing a visually appealing interface. It’s quite big, offering all the necessary details I need while riding. Even in daylight, the display remains visible, and when the headlight is turned on, it dims slightly assuming I’ll be riding in the dark. 

The LCD displays a lot of information, and it can also be scanned and connected to a phone for checking and adjusting settings such as brightness and top speed.

The Aventon Sinch .2 is equipped with ChaoYang 20×4-inch fat tires that are suitable for both urban and off-road adventures. Although the tire tread is more street-oriented compared to the usual knobby tires, it still performs well enough. The tires also add a stylish Aventon touch, enhancing the overall look of the bike.

The Aventon Sinch .2 comes with a bright LED headlight that provides ample illumination. Additionally, the bike has an integrated brake rear light, ensuring safety during rides. What’s really cool is that both the front and rear lights are equipped with turn signals, which is a nice feature when making turns. It’s important to keep in mind that this is still an e-bike, I advise you not to ride it under heavy rain for prolonged periods.
