One standout feature is the battery, which gives the bike a significant level up. With a range of 60 miles on a single battery consumption at pedal assist level 1, I can confidently go on longer rides without worrying about running out of power. The option to have a spare battery placed inside the rear rack is a brilliant addition, giving me the freedom to extend my rides even further.

The bike offers both pedal assist and throttle modes, providing versatility in how I ride. However, the throttle itself is a separate purchase, which might be something to consider since the bike’s price is not cheap.

Weighing 66 lbs, the Evelo Atlas is not that heavy for an e-bike, but this is well compensated by its stable and comfortable ride quality. The 27.5 x 2.8-inch Schwalbe Supermoto tires contribute to the bike’s smoothness and provide good traction on various terrains.

The Evelo Atlas offered a smooth and stable ride, providing a nice experience overall. The steering was nimble and agile, allowing for precise control during my journey. The power delivery is very responsive, with each of the 5 pedal assists offering good comfort and support.

The bike’s weight distribution is balanced, contributing to its ride stability. The bike can handle loads of up to 350 lbs without compromising its performance. With the nominal 600W power and the capability to unleash a powerful 1300W, the bike’s performance really satisfies my expectations.
