The Heybike Tyson gives a good riding performance. I was able to reach a 28mph top speed. This electric bike is built with a stylish uni-body design that not only catches the eye but also includes convenient turn signals on both the front and rear, it’s really great for added safety.

I love that the bike is equipped with 4G tracking technology, allowing you to easily locate the bike if it ever gets lost. This added security feature brings peace of mind when riding in unfamiliar areas or doing long rides. And yes, the electric bike can be folded also, which allows you to bring the bike whenever you want with a little space at the back of your car.

I had a range of 55 miles which is pretty good. It allows for extended rides without the worry of running out of battery power. However, it’s worth noting that the bike does have a weighty presence, coming in at 77 lbs. This might be a consideration if you prefer lighter electric bikes.

One thing I also don’t like with the Heybike Tyson is that it isn’t particularly well-suited for steep hills. The bike gives a power of 750W, providing ample power for acceleration and maintaining speeds on flat surfaces. But if you’re into daily commuting with off-road riding, this is really great thanks to its dual suspension and 20×4” fat tires.

When it comes to top speed, the Heybike Tyson reached a top speed of 28mph, which I found to be quite impressive for this type of bike, also complying with Class 3 regulations. I measured the speed separately for both throttle and pedal assist modes. 

Relying solely on the throttle, the top speed reached 24mph. The Heybike Tyson performs exceptionally well on flat roads, making it a great choice for cruising along those smooth surfaces.

The Heybike Tyson gives a good ride. The acceleration feels incredibly smooth, especially on flat surfaces. It’s truly impressive how stable it remains throughout the ride.

The Heybike Tyson performed badly when I try to ride it on inclines. Whether using pedal assist or relying solely on the throttle, the bike doesn’t have enough power to conquer the inclines effectively. Unfortunately, it falls short in this aspect and might not be the best choice for hilly landscapes. 

The Heybike Tyson gives a reliable battery capacity which is perfect if you prefer long rides. I was able to cover an impressive distance of 55 miles. This speaks to the bike’s excellent range of capabilities. 

The bike has a 720Wh battery, which provides ample power to keep you going for extended periods. With this kind of range, you can confidently go on long rides without worrying about running out of battery too soon.

The Heybike Tyson offers a smooth ride, unlike anything else you can find at this price point. With its full suspension and 20″ fat tires, you can expect a comfortable and enjoyable experience. 

While the steering may not be extremely nimble or agile, it’s a minor downside considering the benefits of the full suspension and fat tires. The power delivery is highly responsive, allowing for a quick and enjoyable ride. 

When it comes to cornering, the 20×4″ tires provide a nice grip, giving you confidence while maneuvering. The weight distribution and ride stability are exceptional, as the bike can handle weights up to 400 lbs without any worries. 

The Heybike Tyson is equipped with hydraulic disc brakes provided by RSX, a nice brand for me. The brake rotors have a diameter of 180mm, ensuring effective stopping power. 

The bike features motor/power cut-off levers, which enhance safety by quickly disabling the motor when braking. When it comes to braking, the hydraulic disc brakes are dependable, offering excellent stopping performance. Whether you need to make a quick stop or bring the bike to a complete halt, you can rely on the Heybike Tyson’s responsive and efficient braking system.

The Heybike Tyson features a full suspension system, consisting of a hydraulic front fork suspension and a rear spring shock. The suspension components are provided by Fast Ace. The front fork has 1 inch of travel, which provides a decent level of cushioning. 

The front suspension fork is adjustable and lockable, allowing you to customize the suspension settings according to your preference and lock it when needed.

The overall feel of the suspension is great. When riding the Heybike Tyson, it creates a floating sensation, providing a smooth and comfortable experience. In addition to the front and rear suspension, the bike also features a seat post suspension, further enhancing the comfort level.
