With an impressive peak power of 1000W and a torque rating of 75Nm, this e-bike powers through inclines with confidence and ease. During my test rides on various terrains, the Bullet GT was able to shoot up every hill I tested it on. Its hill climbing ability was clearly superior to that of the Engwe M20, mainly because it has 20Nm of extra torque.

And even though the acceleration slightly tapered off after that, it remained smooth and steady throughout my ride.
As I mentioned before, the RAEV Bullet GT is available with a 48V 20Ah (960Wh) and a 48V 28Ah (1344Wh) Lithium-ion power source, with the latter offering an additional 48V 8Ah battery. Both battery options boast Samsung 21700 cells, which are renowned for their high energy density and reliability. I tested the single-battery (48V 20Ah) version, and was impressed with the results.
I was able to travel 34.2 miles using throttle most of the time, and my journey included a combination of flat stretches and hilly terrain. The range is truly remarkable, especially when considering the weight of the bike and its 750W nominal output. If you want to extend the range even further, you can opt for the dual-battery configuration, and can get the freedom to explore without worrying about running out of power.
The ride quality of the Bullet GT was excellent, to say the least – thanks to the 4″ fat tires, dual suspension system, and large saddle, all of which worked in perfect harmony to provide a ride free of jerkiness or discomfort. The steering and cornering was also great, and I was able to effortlessly maneuver through tight spaces. Moreover, the power delivery was responsive, with no noticeable lag during acceleration.
One standout feature of the Bullet GT electric bike is its balanced weight distribution, which makes for a stable and safe ride on tracks. The frame geometry and riding posture was also quite decent. However, do keep in mind that the saddle position cannot be adjusted due to the bike’s moped design. On the bright side, the saddle is made from memory foam, and is therefore cushy and comfortable.
The RAEV Bullet GT doesn’t disappoint when it comes to braking power. This fat tire e-bike is equipped with 160mm hydraulic disc brakes with an electric cut-off sensor. During my testing, the Bullet GT was able to stop from an initial speed of 20mph within a distance of 12-15ft. The braking performance was consistent and reliable, well-suited for the bike’s weight, intended off-road use, and overall speed capabilities.
When it comes to handling rough terrains, the RAEV Bullet GT shines with its dual suspension system. The front suspension features a hydraulic fork with 60mm of travel, which can be locked out and adjusted with rebound control as needed. The rear suspension, on the other hand, consists of a coil-spring with 40mm of travel. It may feel a bit stiffer, but thankfully it is also adjustable to match your preferences.
The RAEV Bullet GT comes equipped with the Shimano Tourney 7S system, which is kind of standard for the price point. Shifting gears was fairly smooth during my testing. However, considering the intended purpose of the Bullet GT as a high-speed electric moped, it would have been nice to see an 8-speed system included.
